Deng Hongbo

 Director of UN Trade Point Beijing, Director of Beijing WTO Affairs Center, Chief of Beijing International Economic and Trade Research Institute, Chief of magazine Economic & Trade Update, Chairman of Beijing Commercial Enterprises Legal Consultant Association, Deputy Chairman of Beijing International Economic and Trade Academy; part-time professor of Capital Economic and Trade University and visiting professor of Beijing Agricultural College.

Professor Deng Hongbo has engaged in policy research on WTO affairs, international economics, industry economics and quantity economic analyses; participated in national social science ¡°Eight-five¡±, ¡°Nine-five¡±, ¡°Ten-five¡± development plan drafting. Much of his research has been materialized into governmental policies and won him provincial or ministry-level research awards in the fields of philosophy and social science.

Currently he is the representative of the 9th Beijing Municipal People's Congress of Chinese Communist Party; representative of the 11th and 12th Beijing Municipal People's Congress; financial and business commissioner of the Standing Committee of the 11th Beijing Municipal People's Congress; financial and business commissioner of the 12th Beijing Municipal People's Congress.


 

Cheng Dawei

Chief Expert of Beijing WTO Affairs Center.

Associate Professor of International Economic Department, China Renmin University, Executive Director of International Commerce & Foreign Affairs Project China Center, and Visiting Professor of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

In 1999, Dr. Cheng participated in the 3rd WTO minister-level conference in Seattle as a working staff of WTO, and in 2001, she participated in the 4th minister-level conference in Doha.

Dr. Cheng Dawei studied at the Monterey Institute of International Studies in the USA, and graduated with a Master's degree in Business Diplomacy. She attended advanced studies courses at Standford University and Monterey Institute of International Studies in the USA as a Fulbright scholar. She published over 20 articles related to WTO. She was also involved in the writing and assessment of the Action Plan Program for Beijing in the Transition Period after China's Entry into the WTO .


 

Zhong Qing

Graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Southwest University of Political Science & Law, and Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Dr Zhong Qing has been respectively granted degrees of Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Law and PhD at Law, majoring in Civil and Business Law.

With over 10 years of working experience in large-scale law offices and consulting companies, Dr Zhong has written up to 700,000 words of professional works, including Security Interests on Property Rights, Injury Standards of SSM , and A Study of American Article 332 . He has conducted dozens of legal consultation projects by himself or as a project leader. He also serves as expert for Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Administration of IPR in several major projects. Dr Zhong engages himself mainly in the research and legal consultation on International Trade Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law and Financial Guaranty Law. His working languages are Chinese and English.
